i really like my tv. i can put the apps i want on it and it has a internet browser. only thing i don't like is that i can't cast to it. i have a samsung galaxy 21 plus. it's a shame that a samsung tv only will take a apple phone for casting. for this reason when i get ready to update my tv it most likely won't be a samsung.

samsung's app access is not user-friendly. not intuitive and not easy to access when you have numerous regularly used apps. sound is terrible (not a big deal for most like me with a home theater system anyway). brightness and especially light/dark contrast is poor. still playing with color settings, but the presets are not helpful.

great picture on this tv, however! the software is awful, layout of apps on home screen are awful and i've not yet found a way to move apps or delete apps i do not want. remote is not user friendly at all, needs backlit keys. placement of small keys which often get hit by mistake and you end up somewhere you don't want to be. they are hard to find with no backlighting. also, airplay is buggy and often won't work or hangs up. resulting it many shut downs and restarts. no chromecast to download and use that i've found. chromecast is generally more reliable on my other tv's. i'd not likely recommend this tv to anyone based on the software and remote. even though it's a great picture i'd not buy another one.

i really like this tv. the picture quality is great. its sturdy (but also a bit heavy) and my kitty cant push it off its stand. i love the built in streaming, but was disappointed that some of my favorite apps (crunchyroll in particular) werent on the store to download. i can use apple airplay to cast to the tv so that makes things easier. the tv is also lacking a sleep timer and i use those alot since i like background noise when i fall asleep. the best it can do is an auto-off timer with a minimum of 4 hours. those are easily forgotten though, when i play my switch on this lovely screen

The Gift

i seen the vibrant color and detail on this tv and i fell in love. so my kids surprised me for christmas. well, the picture is the only thing good about this tv. the tv continuously loses connection with the internet and starts to buffer and the message, "something occurred while streaming samsung plus tv". the only way to correct the problem is to unplug the tv. i feel awful that my kids spent their hard earned money on this gift. i hate to tell them they wasted their money. at this point, i would be happy with my old tv, at least i would be able to actually watch the tv shows.

Decent TV poor wifi connectivity

this is my first flat screen tv ever and while i was excited about the size and picture after a few days the wifi connectivity began to get progressively worse… every time i watch tv i experience multiple network/ connectivity issues… so basically everyday… there is nothing wrong with my wifi as i use to stream shows on my imac for hours and never lost wifi connectivity never… i have thought about getting a wifi booster since my router is in a permanently fixed location but cant find any decent reviews and i am not keen on spending an additional $25-100 just to fix a problem that should not even be a problem…i'd only recommend this tv if you are getting it for free.. otherwise consider a different model or brand altogether

the remote is laid out terribly. a remote is normally a one handed device but because of the way samsung configured their remote it takes two hands to use it. samsung put the directional buttons way down near the palm of your hand so i would have to use my left to use the directional buttons. it is not intuitive at all. i had to change my remote to a roku device. the tv is not as clear as i expected but now i have a better remote

this tv is garbage. it is flimsy and the screen cracked by simply moving it. stay away from this tv. it is fragile and sansung will not take care ot it. it is physical damage. i have probably moved 20 tvs around in my life and no issues. this one is made of egg shells.

Remote scrolling through apps nonstop (broken)

bought a few days before xmas. this was a xmas gift. it worked for 3 days and then stopped. remote continues to scroll through apps. the volume doesn't stop if you press just once on remote up or down. it goes to full volume or back down to zero. tried everything customer service said to and still doesn't work. now we have to try to get this returned. this model isn't available now to replace at target (probably because of all the issues it has). that being said, we have to spend more money to get a different model now. such a waste of time and completely ruined the xmas gift….

putting aside the fact this samsung tv had only one usb and two hdmi ports, upon set-up i finally went to plug my amazon firestick in and found both ports were defective. the pins which secure the hdmi connection appeared bent slightly and, thus, i could not plus an hdmi cable into either one. unacceptable and highly disappointing. i then found via google search this is not all that uncommon an issue with samsung smart tvs. given samsung leads the smart tv market with lg, i expect better from them. i returned it and purchased the lesser prominent 55" toshiba amazon smart tv instead. despite being less recommended than the samsung, it ended up being the better product all around - and all four hdmi ports on it work perfectly.

Great TV for 1 day, then crashed.

returned it 2 days after delivery. worked on day one, black screen day 2. spent 2-3 hours trying to find a fix on samsungs site and others. came up empty, went back to best buy and biught a sony ( should have done so to negin with). i thought id save $150 by buying tjis " on sale" samsung. my bad, should have known better. not suggesting they're all bad but mine was. even for the day it worked, my sonys picture quality is superior.

my son got me this tv because i complained about not being able to see my 34". i can see everything now. i noticed a scare on an actors face that i had never seen. i haven't really dealt with the different features because i have a fire stick. the only thing i don't like is that menu that pops up, i havae tried to get rid of it.

Dark image or defective?

i have two other samsung tvs that i'm very pleased with, so i purchased this one online. when it arrived i found the image brightness to be very dark and was not enjoyable during daylight hours. i tried adjusting the settings but it was not helpful. i don't know if the tv i teceived was defective because it one point the screen went almost completely black. i was disappointed and i am still considering what to exchange it for, probably another samsung but i would like this model because of the price point but i'm worried to risk the low quality again. however at this point, i would not recommend this product.

had a 4k smart sony bravia 55 that tanked after only 5 years. bought my 55 class tu7000 4k smart for 1/3rd of the sony price. only real problem is on me. i did not check and when setting up later found there are only 2 hdmi's! tv's in this age can't have 2. what with blu-ray, sound bar, & cable you need 3 minimum. do your homework and check before buying any tv.

picture is good but for 2020 model uhd expected better. what really is a disappointment is the legs for the tv they are way too wide apart did not fit well on my tv stand as a corner unit the legs are about to fall off the back of it. they are very thin and does not have any non-skid material on them, the look is cheap. i purchased a 65 inch but had to change the order for a 55 inch since the leg design was this way.

the visuals and sound are fine. but the main screen is a bloated mess of ads, a confusing user interface, and apps you can't remove. i want a tv that lets me choose what i wish to see on screen. your attempt to make things convenient has resulted in a tv i downright loathe. the remote control is an un-ergonomic disaster. why would you put that many buttons on the controller? i need power, an enter button, and four navigational buttons to move around the screen. there are over 55 buttons, 91% of which i don't use and not one of the ones i use sits in the natural position of my thumb besides the samsung network button. i constantly mis-click and go into things i don't want. i hate this and it's not making my experience better. i would not recommend samsung tvs to anyone as a result.

Frustating TV experience

the pros: the picture is clear, sound is nice. i like the samsung tv feature. the cons: the remote either disconnects from the tv or the tv freezes in certain apps. it is extremely frustrating. multiple times a week, we have to unplug the tv, remove the batteries from the remote, repair the remote or simply just choose not to watch tv until it become responsive again. there is never a surefire fix - the tv just stops working. you can power it on and off and that's it. also, a minor complaint, the remote isn't backlit, so you can't easily use it in the dark. i wouldn't recommend this tv.

I love the quality of sound and display. Dynamic settings as well as the feel and look at your in home app settings on your TV. MY only thing that I believe it needs to get fixed in a new software update, when I'm playing my ps5 the contrast is kinda of weird; sometime the whites look blown out and areas in the dark are too dark. I had to tweak the settings to fix it, it wasn't easy though.

I use my tv mainly for movies and some gaming.. Amazing picture quality and ultra clear. The colors just pop out at ya.

I have been very satisfied with my tv. I have really enjoyed the built in sound that is soo much better than previous models. I also enjoy the smart hub although I no longer receive extra services on the side bar as well ad having to purchase a roku because no new apps have been updated in quite some time...my TV isn't one listed in the drop down menu but I selected what was close. I would recommend this tv it has beautiful pic even allowing you to go in and make your own adjustments if you want and like the simplicity of the remote as well as all that is offered for settings as well as customer service and it was really nice having the ability to trouble shoot and view the manuel for any additional settings or info if needed. Samsung always has the added features that surpass other models. It is very easy to mount if you like and all other settings are easy to understand with the added details for each of tje settings when you select. I have always purchased samsung products because they all work well together and I hope to continue adding to my smart system and using samsung products . It is always top of the line tech at more affordable ways to purchase or finance thru samsung and they always with each year step up their game so I'm always excited to see what new products will come next! Thank you for allowing me to review my TV

7 mos of use - Error codes, sound problems, more

after only 7 months of use, this tv with a beautiful picture lost its smart functions, error 107. after a lengthy call with samsung and multiple tries to correct the error, i was told it needed repair. i bought an extended warranty btw. rather than replace the tv, they want to send a repair person. a week later, the time went wonky on the tv. three days after that the sound comes in and out. still, samsung insists on repair. do not purchase this tv. it is a lemon and samsung does not stand behind its product. a sceptre i purchased from walmart 10 years ago and received via ground is still going strong without any problem. i will not purchase another samsung television again.

We use our TV for daily experience. Gaming, movies, news, social media, and many more stuff. It has completely change our expectations from use of LCD TV's. Great features, great quality with reasonable price.
