I have this refrigerator and it is terrible. Dont waste your money. I have had nothing but problems from the time it was installed. It has really bad ice build up will work and now the bottom doesnt get cold. No insurance.

frost buildup in freezer. Manufactured October 2024. Purchased end November 2024. LG wants to repair what is really a new product. Repair person said ..well you know like when you cook and the stove is on and you open the refrigerator or freezer the heat may cause the frost Customer Service rep. told me to unplug the refrigerator for 8 hours. I asked what about my spoiled food. The reply .. put in a food loss claim. Unable to attach pictures of freezer and frost inside.

I bought the refrigerator at a big box store which did not have a unit immediately available with an ice maker. They promised to send an ice maker separately which they did and which I installed. Everything was fine for the first 18 months but then the ice maker quit making ice and the repairman couldnt figure out why. Probably independently the compressor failed at the same time along with the main circuit board. The compressor and board are being done under warranty which has been very difficult to schedule - if the promised repairs take place this Friday it will be 3-4 weeks without a functioning refrigerator.

The product was bought in 7/2023 as a package from Lowes. The compressor went out on 11/28/2024. LG could not find a service person to work on it for 2 weeks. There was no reimbursement for food. I tried to find a service person and no one would work on an LG in Horry County SC.

We bought this refrigerator a month ago and regret the choice. We chose a top freezer because we had read that this was the most efficient. Maybe but it is most inconvenient. It also runs much too cold. The factory settings caused ice cream to be indestructible. Adjusting down....still too hard. Final adjustment....mush. Having the fridge on the bottom requires bending over to reach anything most items positioned below the waist. The loss of shelf storage with a single door we find severe compared to the amount of space we had with our French door model. The water inside requires the fridge door to be opened repeatedly. It should only be positioned for use outside the box. We would gladly trade up to a French door bottom freezer if provided the opportunity.

I purchased this fridge and have struggled with LG customer service to get a resolution to my issue. The fridge itself works correctly however when I purchased it one of the major draws was the ability to have an ice maker which we have never owned before. I bought the associated ice maker kit which was expensive only to find that the hole in the back of the fridge for the ice maker to be installed did not line up properly meaning that I was not going to get an ice maker after allat least not without modifying the fridge and voiding the warranty. Because of this I called LG customer support on several occassions speaking with many individuals for many hours cumulatively only to get answers that pointed the finger at the store the product was sold at effectively saying Sorry there is nothing we can do. Not only this I was told that for any warranty work I would have to pay for a service tech to come verify the issue. The issue being after having LG give me names of technicians I called each only to find out that none of them work on LG or are within 2 hours of my residence. If I would have known this level of customer service to be the case before purchasing I would have not only avoided purchasing this product in particular but avoided LG products in general. I do not intend at this time to purchase any LG products moving forward not only for the lack of accountability shown by thier service staff but the lack of quality that I have seen within the products manufacturing.

The size square footage size is misleading. I didnt think about the placement of the water dispenser on the inside and how easy it would be to tap and make a mess all over everything in the refrigerator. Also only having two door shelves because of the two large drawers at the bottom of the refrigerator takes up a lot of unused area. Also cant put my magnets on the outside of the refrigerator I guess its aluminum or something with plastic over it because its not magnetic at all

We are not happy with the CS we received from LG. Communication needs improvement. MGR Appliances needs to be reevaluated as your service partner. As a consumer I will buy a LG because of MGR.

This Refrigerator Stop cooling in 17 month. I am working with LG warranty since last three weeks to fix with no progress on the resolution. This is my second LG refrigerator in last two year having an issue with cooling. Stay away from Buying LG refrigerator.

No nonsense no wifi yes filtered water. I was sold. Works well very quiet in my opinion and feels super spacious. Only opportunity for improvement is the plastic drawers are squeaky.

I have had this refrigerator for a year and a half I have had to have a repairman come every 3-6 months to fix it inability to defrosting properly. Causing the refrigerator part to run warm. I have lost hundreds in groceries and repairs due to this. I have followed the cleaning protocols to a T and yet it keeps doing it I even bought another freezer to limit the food in the freezer to keep circulation of air going. With what I have spend in time repairs and lost of food. I should have bought a different brand of refrigerator So disappointing

The freezer has frosted over since the beginning. It affects the fridge temperature too. LG has been slow in getting a repairman and I had to locate one myself. Replacing Master control. Very disappointed

I love everything about this refrigerator. Being able to put gallon milk jugs and large tubs of butter on the door leaves more room to place food and left overs on the shelves. The refrigerator is so spacious and looks so clean on the inside and beautiful on the outside. I have recommended this refrigerator to my friends and family.

It only work for 2 years now its not as cold. At the coldest setting its only 45 for fridge and 20 for freezer.
Lg wants to charge 450 to fix. Its probably the condenser problem which they are getting sued and lost for it. Whats the point of getting service when I can get the same model for 900. Half price of a new refrigerator for a service that guarantees for 60 months only

I have loved mine for 11 years and wanted to buy another one since we are selling the house BUT one of the my favorite things about it is the pantry drawer in the middle of the fridge. I use it every day and it is always full. LG took it away in the new model. Also the very bottom door shelf. It is small but I have it full. It is very useful. I dont understand why they would take away very useful features. I wont buy this fridge again because I would hate it without those two parts.

I was so disappointed that this fridge is not magnetic. We keep a magnetic family calendar whiteboard on our fridge and a magnetic collection from our travels. Nothing will stick. Is there a way to make it magnetic? Very disappointed this was not mentioned to use when buying. I wasnt aware that Stainless Steel is not magnetic and now we have not place to put our family calendar and magnets.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago to go in our garage. I wanted just a simple refrigerator that would take the temperature changes in our garage. I havent hooked up the water but I plugged it up and left it at the recommended setting. I have put a thermometer in freezer and refrigerator sections. After a couple days it has been right at the recommended temps. I couldnt be happier with it. It matches my other appliances. It is roomy My garage has ran about 90 degrees since it has been in there and it is working great It is consumer reports recommended and I can see why If you want a simple refrigerator this would work well in the house too

I am waiting on a new fridge. The delivery people believe they cut the line that connects the internal water dispenser and the installed Ice maker. So right now I have use of water dispenser but not the ice maker. I love the water dispenser. Maybe when I get the new Fridge and both the water dispenser and the Ice Maker are working I will rate this higher.

The refrigerator is fine. The poor rating is due to the fact that the ice maker I purchased with it was missing a part. It happens. Contacted LG customer service told them my issue text them pictures of the missing part and the illustration with the missing part.1-887-894-9889 After a really long time going back and forth the service rep took my info and said she would send a replacement in 2 - 3 weeks.seems like something that could have happened quicker That was on June 24 2024. August 14th and still do not have a part. Disappointing

Initially our fridge worked well. I purchased it last year on July 23rd from Conns. It started going out July 10th of this year. The freezer is barely working and the fridge is warm. I put in for repair on July 11th. It took them until August 5th to send a repair person out and he had to order parts. Its very difficult to stay on budget and feed a family of six without being able to save your leftovers or buy a full load of groceries.
I spent over a thousand dollars on this fridge and now Im spending more.
I am extremely dissatisfied. Ill go out of my way to never purchase anything from LG again.

We bought an LG fridge two and a half years later it stopped cooling. The actual repair wasnt a big deal. It needed a sensor changed. The issue was we lost like $200 worth of food and it took two weeks for the repair. We did not have an extra fridge lying around

It keeps defrosting and then the water freezes on the bottom of the freezer and water drips into the refrigerator. Weve had the compressor part changed out and it still keeps doing it.

I purchased an LG refrigerator a year and a half ago I recently had cooling problems from the first time I spoke with LG they have been nothing but nice compassion and understanding for my situation they have been on time and orders for my parts were on schedule this technician was very courteous kind and informative about the problems that was going on with my freezer although we werent able to fix the problem when I called algae again they replied with the same sense of urgency to help me take care of this problem they also reimburse me for food loss even though Im going through a tough time with my refrigerator and having to use coolers algae has never treated me poorly or made me feel like anything is my fault

It started out great but I am now having problems with it. The bottom is not cooling as it should. This has been a problem since June and here we are in the middle of July and Im still waiting for someone to at least call me and actually speak about the issue Im having with the refrigerator but so far all I have gotten is people emailing calling or texting asking me to submit paperwork they already have. So absolutely NOT. I will never buy this brand again.

Only two years after purchase the freezer circulation motor burned out causing a $350 repair. Only the closed refrigeration cycle is covered by warranty at this point. Very disappointing.

I bought LG Model LRTLS24035/02 and does not work well. At least every three weeks I need to unplug for 24 hours or more to the fan noise stops or to get a good chill temperature I have done all as the service said to me. So far I have missed my groceries at least 4 times and the worst thing is that the product does not reach the year of service. To top it all of is the customer services is not available on weekends.

I bought this refrigerator about a month ago. It cool and freezes good. My problem is the freezer door will not stay shut. It seems the seal is really weak.
