I purchased a full kitchen suite fridge dishwasher range and microwave six years ago. I have had the range replaced extended warranty a year ago when it didnt work for Thanksgiving Christmas or New Year and its currently not working since Thanksgiving today is 1/19/26. The refrigerator has been replaced twice once under warranty and once with extended warranty. The dishwasher was replaced 6 months ago and I refused to get another LG. So when it comes to dependability LG HAS NONE. If you gave me a set today I would sell them and take the money to buy something that might work.

So many features I really like about this range. The big drawback is it takes the oven a long time to heat up. I had to heat it to 450 for a pizza and it took about 15 minutes. Also an FYI: We also bought a smart microwave. Its programed so when you turn a burner on the microwave vent starts and the light comes on Love that Im disappointed I cant read what I wrote so I dont know if I have typos.

The racks are TOO SMALL They do not sit on the supports on the side of the oven and they fall ALL THE TIME This is extremely dangerous I am so sick of them falling and getting burned when I try to get them back up. I spent too much money on the stupid oven and I cant but a new one. Just make racks that fit the dang oven What if my kids were using the oven when the racks fell????

Repair to my LG Range took almost a month to schedule a date when I was available to be home. I had a date but then the repair person showed up 2 weeks early and wanted to know where the part was? We had no idea a part had been ordered. So he said wed have to reschedule. I was never contacted but a text was sent with a date for the rescheduled repair. Not a date I was available and no one contacted me to ask if I was available. It took 2 phone calls and a follow up text to finally get a date. The repair scheduling conundrum is why this review is rated only 3 stars. The repair was eventually completed after many very frustratingly long phone calls to LG.

My oven is ashy after using the self clean. Called customer service and was told to use baking soda water n vinegar. Did that and it made it worse and oven keep cutting off. Called PSEG because of the smell etc and was advised to get a new one. Called LG they going to send out a technician. When they called the rudely lady said the ashyness of my oven is not their concern.. smhhhh I dont understand why do us as paying customers have to go through this especially if we have a 1 year manufacturer warranty. This is a headache just replace it because its very easy for yall to say everything is fine. However yall are not the ones who have to use it everyday Safey comes first .

Third time using our brand new oven it SHOT A PIECE OF GLASS ACROSS THE KITCHEN ALMOST HITTING MY DAUGHTER when I opened the door the entire pane of glass in the door shattered and LG.com has cancelled our repair twice now saying its NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.

Actually I give it a 4.5 stars. I love how it works and really love how it looks especially the blue oven. However I do have an issue with the control panel. We would prefer the control panel have back lighting. We had to put a magnetic light under the microwave so we can see what we are doing.

My oven was installed on 12/17 on 12/28 it stopped working. Neither LG or Home Depot has done a thing to help me get a working oven it is 1/11/2025. Do NOT buy LG do NOT buy from Home Depot. I am a single working mom of two I spent money I worked hard for and saved to buy an $800 oven that doesnt work. I had to FIGHT for an LG technician who thinks its the power cord. The power cord is on back order with no ETA. This company takes money from hard working average people and then turns their back on them. No one will help me and attorneys arent interested in an $800 case. RUN away from LG.

Cooks with such precision Cooktop performs perfectly. My last range never simmered at the lowest setting just boiled. This one does it perfectly. As far as the over my pies were cooked to perfection for the holidays. I literally look forward to cooking now.

Oven is useless as it refuses to maintain any temperatures. As a result our normal - nothing special - Christmas cookies had to be scraped twice because they were undercooked and then unevenly cooked.
Just a basic casserole - took 3x as long to cook as our 20 yo Bosch convection range.
Today the final straw. 5 hours spent making the components for Pastitsio. After 40 minutes in the oven the temperature was so low that only the lower part of the Bechamel cooked to a custard thickness and the top half was a runny mess - after cooking 3x longer than every recipe suggested and at higher temps set on the controls - it was no better. It finally set up resting on the counter after we ate. Literally kicking myself for believing the good reviews. Im searching craigslist and marketplace for used Bosch ranges as I type this.

I have used my new gas range for a month and I love it I converted it to propane which was extremely easy. It is so beautiful and very expensive looking. The blue interior of the oven is gorgeous. The panel has many features I havent even had a chance to use them all. I bought this on a Black Friday special from Lowes and I am so glad I bought this range

Electronic ignition went after less than 5 mo of limited use. Had to wait 2 weeks for LG to send out a repair technician. Not impressed with their service or how it was handled. Original appointment was a week out but got a call that the part wasnt in even though the range was never looked at. Never received a call to reschedule. I had to contact LG again for a status and its only an online chat which was very time consuming and frustrating.

Heats up fast and hot but very thin/cheap wire racks that bow if heavy ceramic/glass cookware is on them. We thought they would simple break so we had to use one item per rack not two on a single rack. Called LG to get better quality wire racks but the parts company Encompass can only provide the same cheap wire racks that are in the original range/oven. Ive never had wire racks this flimsy in any even much less expensive range/ovens Ive owned.

I bought this stove on November 6. The installers were AWESOME. Everything checked out accordingly. However the first time I baked a dessert in it 6 days later I found that the oven heats up higher than what the display is saying it is. I set it to 350 degrees but it went up to 400 degrees. Although it was too late for Home Depot to do anything about it they did give me a feeling of support and told me to call the LG manufacturer. I did and got a young lady named Hannah who was absolutley phenomenal. Hannah walked me through adjusting the temperature through the settings button. I had to adjust the temperature to a -10 degrees. Although they dont recommend that you use an oven thermometer that is how I found out it was way too hot. Once I adjusted it to -10 I put my oven thermometer in the over and heated it to what I needed and they both were at 350 degrees. I love the cook top but LG needs to do something to insure that the oven is calibrated to correct temperatures. Although I know that things may not work perfectly every time this can be fixed if you take the time to call and treat these people with respect. Although Ive havent baked since this experience Im eager to see what will happen when I do. Im hoping for great results. I was also going to buy an LG dishwashere but this experience pretty much helped me decide to buy a different brand of dishwasher.

I am not happy with my Stove/Range. It is cheaply made. Inside the oven faded to a very light blue after just 8 Months. The stove top scratches very easily. Although I love the features of my stove I would NEVER buy another LG appliance again. I was not happy with their customer service either. They said that the damage to the oven was considered cosmetic an not covered by the warranty. They wouldnt even consider replacing the damaged door or any other parts. Even after speaking to a supervisor several times.

Under two years old and the broiler stopped working. Reached out to LG and they told me since it was out of warranty to find my own repair person. Cost me $470 to fix which was half the price of a new one. My LG microwave bought at the same time has issues with the screen as well. Hugh letdown from LG.

Its been a week now since our oven was delivered and it has yet to be installed nor has anyone reached out to schedule an appointment. I have contacted support twice no known resolution yet.

The Range is great at least most of it. The delivery service is crap putting it kindly. We received the oven but no call day prior after repeated requests to see if we needed to get any extra fittings. They delivered but the cap for one of the burners was missing. They said they reported it to LG but that never happened. After repeated emails and calls to LG still no service and no cap for the large burner. LG said they would get back to us by tomorrow. If not will cease payment on range as the oven is incomplete. All buy your oven from a brick and mortar where you can go to address matters like this.

Bought this oven in September 2023 and now it is August 2024 and apparently the motherboard has to be replaced. The issue that started me calling LG for customer service was that the broiler was not working in convection mode or airfry mode. I dont think it has since we bought it But as it is with new appliances you dont always know what normal is supposed to be. It takes some time to learn the products regular behavior. For example after we first bought it we tried making fish sticks and thought the air fry would be a good option but the result was very lackluster. Thats probably because it didnt work from the beginning. Which is so unfortunate because when you buy an appliance you hope its made well. Hopefully after getting it diagnosed for the second time today the first time the LG technician dropped their contract with LG on the day they were supposed to arrive with the part. The new technician came today and diagnosed it as a motherboard problem. Now Im told its going to be another several days before the part comes in and they can install it. I dont know is this a low end oven?

I purchased this gas range to replace our previous stove after the igniter stopped working. The first stove that was delivered was defective. The portion of the stove with the burners would lift completely off from the base. This was returned and I was sent a second stove and now when baking the faceplate above the door becomes extremely hot even without opening the oven door. I have contacted LG for replacement and after a week they continue to give me the run around. They sent out a technician who didnt even have the right tools to check temperature of the face plate. This will be my last purchase from LG.

The oven was working fine- then completely stopped working- apparently it went into the Sabbath mode - unprovoked and now is completely unresponsive.
This mode should be programmed only for those that want the Sabbath mode. Now Im stuck. No oven. Im a home baker and my income is dependent on the oven working.

Update: DDD Appliance came and fixed my oven. It was something that had been added to operation of oven a new safety feature. The technician was baffled at first and tried numerous attempts to get working. Finally found what was wrong. Thank you thank you thank you. He was very knowledgeable courteous and personable.

Ive had this range since beginning of June. The oven has not worked since I got it. Installer could not get to work and LG repair could not get to work. A month and a half is way too long to wait for oven to get fixed. About ready to cancel payment and send back. All my appliances including tractor are LG products. Cook top is great. Although burners need adjusted as they are too hot.

I have this stove for about two months and am still finding more features I was not aware of at the time of purchase.
The baking time is much better than my old stove and I never had an Air Fryer and now with the built in air fryer it is such a great feature. It cleans up so nice and is just a really great addition to my kitchen.
