Disappointing Logistics Customer Service

So far I am very disappointed with LG. The product itself seems to be well made but the delivery has been challenging. First the third party delivery company cancelled the morning it was supposed to be delivered. Obviously schedules need to be arranged to accept delivery so this was very frustrating. Once the delivery finally happened the unit was dented and scratched. A replacement was supposed to be delivered on a specific date and very little information was provided by the delivery company. I reached out around 0630 only to find out they were going to pick up the old unit the day of delivery then deliver the replacement 5 days later. LG customer service has not been satisfactory either. No consideration was offered for the dented unit in lieu of a replacement. Considering the amount of packing material to be disposed of I would have grudgingly accepted it instead of a replacement and been done with this. This is likely our last purchase direct from LG and do not recommend it.

Disappointing Quality

This fridge unfortunately feels cheap and flimsy. I thought we scored an amazing deal because the retail on the LG website says $3499 but it is very disappointing. Were returning it. In short the doors arent properly aligned the whole thing wobbles when you open or close it and every time you close one door the other pops open a little which raises concerns about the seal. The inside is not very customizable as the shelves cant be moved around much and the left door has almost zero capacity due to the water dispensing unit. Very disappointing though the fridge does work in that it is cooling adequately so far the freezer seems to cool unevenly I put three ice trays in there and while the top one froze the bottom two were still completely liquid the next day. The whole thing feels light weight like its going to fall apart which Ive never experienced with any brand of fridge before. This is our first LG appliance and Im not too confident we will be long term customers.
