I bought my lg washer and dryer in 2019 been happy with them both Recently my dryer stopped working called LG # that was on the dryer explained what was wrong and they sent a service tech out within 3 days to fix and after he left it stopped working again tech came back to do more test and needed parts to fix he came back for a third time to fix and now it works greatIm happy with the appliances and customer service and the professionalism of the TechSteve

We have had this dryer for about two years. The knob selected is very lazy or requires multiple turns to get it too switch . Also the sensor for drying doesnt work well.

Beware of burned out little fuse $$$$

Bought an LG gas dryer from Best Buy. Worked for one year until the warranty expired. Received an error code NOT listed on LG website had to pay Best Buy $350 to fix it. Broke again the following year - same little burned out part. Best Buy and LG both quoted me another $350 to fix SAME THING. Original cost was around $800 so now I am chasing a bad product trying to repair it? I am throwing the whole thing in the recycle trash.

LG dryer does not live up to its reputation

Horrible experience

Its horrible it has had around 7 or more repairs and they cant get it to work properly. Almost every week for the pas couple of months I have been having to go do laundry outside and spending lots of money all because the dryer keeps breaking down. To get them to come fix the machine takes a lot of time and most of the time they are rude depending on what company they send you too.

My dryer was not drying but the technician who came to service my dryer had intimate knowledge of the appliance. Within minutes the dryer was taken apart and he was already diagnosing the issue. Only 30 minutes had past since he entered my home and he was already putting the dryer back together to run a test of the new part. Just that quick and he was finished and we have dry clothes again

A Little Disappointed

I always heard LG was a good brand so decided to give them a try. The first thing is the dryer is not even a year old I got an Error Code about the filter so I have to have someone come in to clean the duct. Second the door is very hard to open. Third most important their is no LIGHT in the dryer which I never noticed before purchase. Dont know whose bright idea was to eliminate light but not a good one

Had a chance to use this dryer several times. So far so good. I like the large lint screen. Not a fan of the default energy saver button as using it requires additional drying time. Would be nice to have the option to so it is not a default.

Not Worth The Extra Money for Energy Efficiency

Ive had issues with this dryer not getting my clothes completely dry. When I contacted customer service I was told that I do not know how to do laundry correctly and was also informed that the sensor-dry technology will only get clothes 85 dry. So I paid extra money for features that do not work. I had a technician come look at it because I thought it was broken. He said this feature was useless is only a marketing ploy so LG can claim energy efficiency. Customer Service was horrible and it took me 6 months of calling before they approved a technician to come look at it. My rating is for the dryer. I would rate their customer service with 1 star.

I bought a house with the dryer and washer with it. They are only 1 and half years old. Dryer heat went out. Called customer service no help. I can not even find a repair company that will work on LGs in my area.
