just bought the LG WT7005CW washer and the LG DLG7001W dryer and they are different colors of white. Makes no sense why LG uses different white colors nor tells its customers they wont match in color.

Purchased about a month ago based on recommendation from consumer reports. At first I thought the dryer wasnt working since it would shut off after a few minutes. Had the local company send a repairman who couldnt find anything wrong then LG sent a repairman and he said I probably had a clogged vent pipe. Had my vent pipe checked to find a blockage. Once fixed dryer worked great Dryer was able to show an error code that told the technician about the blocked Vent and probably prevented a fire.

Less than a year old and already broken. Worse than that is the customer service. Tech support forced me to call the gas company before they would send a technician. Insisted that the gas pressure was the issue. After the gas company came and gave the all clear tech support wanted proof of the visit. Nearly a month without a dryer before the technician arrived. Took him 10 minutes to locate and replace the failed part igniter.

I bought my LG dryer a little over two months ago. It worked perfectly until about one month in when it made a really high pitched noise and it stopped tumbling. I called the LG customer support and they were really professional and efficient. They sent a repairman who came out a few days later. I thought the dryer was a lemon but the repairman gave it a thorough check and he found a small piece of my grandsons batman cape that got stuffed into the dryer vent. So the repairman took it out and the dryer now works perfectly Not a lemon just my two year old grandson. Plus LG didnt charge me

Worst piece of garbage. Have had it for just about 3 years and it has failed twice. Once the entire control board had to be replaced which was not cheap. Poor quality build. Do no reccommend.

I am so disappointed in my dryer. It doesnt dry the cloths . Everytime I call for service they do a check over the phone.. first they said it was the air flow then they said it was a gas leak. We clear the code and it still doesnt work. They will not send someone out to look at it. This has been an on going problem since I purchased it in September..I have reached out to Lowes and they said I had to get in touch with lg. Lg said its an LG problem.

Dryer functions just fine but in the last month its developed a loud buzzing/rattling noise coming from the bottom of the unit. I had two different technicians come out. The first took it all apart and said nothing was wrong with it and added some felt tape in some places. Still loud. Second technician came out and pointed to a small dent near the top/rear of the unit and said because of that there is nothing to fix even though the noise is coming from the bottom of the unit. So other than the super loud buzzing noise that drives my wife crazy unit functions just fine...for now.

The dryer has not worked since it was installed four weeks ago. I have been working with LG to get a repair company to fix the problem since it is under warranty with no luck. LGs customer service just gives you their standard answers and just drags their feet and will not listen that the repair company is not giving me a repair date.

The LG dryer was installed over two weeks ago and it does not dry. I have called LG multiple times and all I get is the run around. I keep getting told that the repair service will call but it has been over two weeks and I cannot get them to return my call.
Not only did I buy a dryer but a washer dishwasher refrigerator and stove all LG products for this rental unit. I spent thousands of dollars and I cannot get anyone to help me get the dryer fixed.
I have LG products at my home and definitely will think twice about any additional products.

At first it was a challenge to get repaired because first LG rep wanted us to check dryer exhaust line which we did and it was totally cleared with no effect on dryer operation. LG rep then said it must be cleaned by a professional service at our expense. We said it was clear and would not pay for this. LG then sent a few procedures to test dryer which were quite timely and accomplished nothing. After a week or of this we then called Home Depot where we purchased the dryer. They were able to get past this and helped to set up a service visit finally. In three days the service rep came to our house to analyze our problem. It was a broken heat sensor which he said was probably damaged during shipping. He replaced the part and tested the dryer for operation. He was very professional knowledgeable and helpful. He fixed the dryer and cleaned up before he left.

I have no problem with the product but with LG support: I had a problem starting the machine for the first time. I drove to the store but the sales person could not help. He sent a request to LG Customer Care which responded by text 2 weeks later. Luckily I figured out the problem myself: the dryer was on Control Lock most likely from the installer checking that the machine works. If I would not read the manual and figure the problem out myself would my bed sheets be laying there wet for 2 weeks?

This between Home Depot and LG was one of the worst experiences I have had. I bought a new LG washer and dryer based on the recommendations from the HD salesperson. On delivery the installer ripped off the upper control unit of the washer because he was too much in a hurry Washer returned and redelivered 3 days later. The dryer was basically dead on arrival they didnt check for any heating or codes and the dryer was not heating with a no gas at dryer code. Tech comes out several days later immediatly finds a sensor failure part is on backorder dryer still non functional tech leaves. Replacement part becomes avalable and they schedule tech to come back in a week. After several weeks Dryer is still not functional so we cant do clothes. I wish I could rate this as a zero if I could

I have been very happy overall with this machine. Looks great I love that it plays a song when its dry so that I know its time to take the clothes out. The only thing I will say is that I have had to use my 3 year extended warranty to fix the control board kept dryer when clothes were already dry. However the technician was great. I wouldve been upset had I not purchased extended warranty.

After having issues with a different name brand dryer we purchased the LG DLG7001 gas dryer. This dryer handles both small and large loads great. You are able to complete your laundry chores in substantially less time than with the previous dryer we had. Im extremely happy with the quality and performance of this dryer

Defective dryer did not heat vs. Lowes men who installed it told me that it tested O.K. Horrible Lowes customer service: phone calls on-hold 1/2 hr. Lowes required me to hire plumber to check gas pressure check vent plumber verified gas pressure vent were O.K. Demanded Lowes refund return defective dryer. Both Lowes LG refused to reimburse me for large unnecessary plumbers bill.

My dryer never dried well and after 2 months it stopped working. LG initially told me the problem was my gas line. After hiring a plumber I was told the issue is the dryer. LG sent a repair person out. He ordered three parts. I have been waiting for two weeks for the parts to come in. The customer service team at LG has been rude at times. I have not had a dryer for 3 1/2 weeks and am still waiting. LG should be replacing my dryer if they cant get me parts in a timely fashion.

I purchased a dryer there was no manual with the unit. I asked where I purchased it and they said the new dryers do not come with a manual. They suggested I look on line. No manual there so I called the customer line. I explained I did not get an operators manual. I was told there is NO manual to get. I asked how I was to know how to operate my new dryer. I was told
trial and error. This unacceptable from any company. Be sure to check for an operators manual before you buy.

I love my new LG Dryer Everything comes out beautiful and wrinkle free With my old dryer I had to hang my jeans tee shirts and all of my delicates for fear of shrinkage. My 2 month old dry stopped hearting. Code 9A5 appeared not enough gas. Contact LG via chat. I was told to have PGE to come out and check the gas pressure. Not the problem. Then I was told to clean the dryer vent. Did it not the problem. Finally a tech was approved. The Tech was great

I bought the dryer on the 16th of May and used it for the first time today on May 31st. I live in the country so I needed to change my new gas dryer over to propane and you have to go online and find someplace that sells the part because you can not buy this part at the store where you purchase the dryer then find someone to install this tiny 2 inch part that you have to disassemble the entire dryer to cuz its in the front of the dryer. a access door would be a nice feature why doesnt anyone just make a propane dryer all ready to go? So the feature I like is the less wrinkles feature and the disliked feature is its a dark colored drum inside and no light.

I bought this dryer a few months ago. I would put it on normal and minutes to dry said 63 minutes. My clothes were not dry.
They sent a repair man to look at it. I thought the sensor was broke. He told me to put it on normal and turn off the energy saver which lowered the minutes to dry to 41 minutes to my surprise the drive in 30 to 40 minutes which made me very happy so now I love my dryer

Bought a new LG washer and dryer in November. In late February dryer started chirping off and on while running. Called LG who said after 3 phone calls from me because it was made in 2021 it wasnt under warranty any longer so repairs would be on me. Went back to Appliance Discounters where I purchased it who told me it was under warranty based on when I bought it.
