We were excited to purchase a Speed Queen washer and dryer for our new home. So far I would only say that we have mixed feelings about them. They are loud, and don't have features you would expect in any washer and dryer. The auto-sense for dryness doesn't actually get all of the clothes dry if you have different weights of items to dry. The timed dry has two options - 30 minutes and 60 minutes. It's a dial. You should be able to pick how many minutes you want!!!!!!!

The only washed and dryer that is not totally made of plastic. The current models do have one part plastic.
I am finished with high end plastic models. This is perfect.

Have only had this one month but pleased so far. Seems to be good quality, love the features/setting options. Gets my clothes dry and runs quietly. Love the warranty and stated "length of life". Counting on this being my last dryer purchase. Good experience from purchase to install to use

My Maytag died after 12 years and I wanted to see if I could get a Speed Queen to match the washer I had. This is the best dryer I have ever purchased and it has the best warranty of any that I have ever owned. The only dryer that I have ever had that had a light inside also. I would recommend this to anyone that wanted a built in the USA machine.

Well, we have had the washing machine for a few years and it has been great. Got the matching Dryer installed in my new home and it had a part failure 8 months. Dryer seems to be working great now that it got repaired which i need reimbursement for

The dryer dries well, but it's too bad that the machine cannot indicate how much drying time is left on the cycle. I have to keep running back & forth from the laundry room to open the dryer door to see if the clothes are dry.

Great machine! The drier has all of the features that I need. My clothes are always dry at the end of whatever cycle that I use. Each cycle is completed quicker than my previous machine. My only negatives are the same as for the washer, the end of cycle buzzer could be loader and the machine should have a countdown timer standard at this price level.

So far the clothes dryer has functioned really well. It has taken me a few weeks to figure out exactly what settings to use so my clothing items come out dry but not over dry. The clothing items seem to come out of the dryer with fewer wrinkles than any other brand I have ever had. I love how the extended tumble rotates on and off if I do not get the clothing items out immediately at the end of the cycle. We love the product.

Before buying this Speed Queen dryer I called a friend of mine, who works on appliances for a living, and has been doing it for many years. He said on average he works on maybe one speed queen appliance per year if that. That kind of tells me everything I need to know so far so good.

Purchased my speedqueen washer and dryer 2 years ago, it was a easy choice after shopping around, and realizing that the remainder of available other brand names would not be waranteed. The steel drive of the washer caught my eye and heart.
The washer took some time down about a month ago, but the 5 year warranty covered the repair. I am and have been very pleased with my washer and dryer!

I was looking for a machine that would hold up. My last dryer had a very thin coat of paint and was rusting. It also ate buttons and zippers. The permanent press setting didn't do anything. It is so nice to have a machine that has a filter that's easy to clean and performs like it should.

I'm realizing the auto dry only works on the extra tumble setting. And it takes a bit longer to dry than I was expecting, but the clothes come out nice. I'm not sure if I would recommend it yet or not.

Appreciate the automatic sensing option to determine when the clothes are dry to improve efficiency. Wish the lint screen was removable as my arthritic hands find it difficult to clean all surfaces of the fixed screen.
