Fridge worked OK for the first few years we had it. Sometimes things froze or spoiled, but just ocassionally. Recently, milk has regularly been going bad before the expiration date. I purchased 2 thermometers, which are reliable as they read exactly the same temperature when placed in the same place in the fridge. they revealed that the top shelf and bottom shelf differ by 10-12 degrees. Over the last week or so I have tried adjusting the cooling setting a few times to improve this, but regardless of the setting, either the top or bottom shelf is unfit for food storage. To get the bottom shelf below 40 degrees, the top shelf goes below 30 and then freezes things. I tried to contact customer service today to see if they have an suggested trouble shooting (already made sure no vents are covered in the fridge) but they are not available. I am frustrated that there is no way to send an email, and I can only chat duing certain hours. We are past warrantee on this refrigerator, but I expect major appliances like this to last beyond 5 years. With all the technologyin the world, it seems ridiculous to me that a refrigerator cannot maintain a steady temperature itself. Why do they not all have internal thermometers and regulate the temperature?????

Very noisy at times. Doesn't come with an ice maker and to order one was a minimum three month plus wait with no guarantee it would ever arrive. I do like the extra movable shelf drawer. Nice spacing between shelves.

It works and keeps food cold, but makes a lot of weird noises . Ice maker only refills if I do it manually, and it™™s less than a year okd. Lowe™™s wouldn™™t do anything about it. It looks nice, though.

We purchased this refrigerator on July 24, 2023 and it was installed on July 27, 2023. The refrigerator began freezing items around the end of June 2024. We followed all of the trouble shooting suggestions per the Frigidaire owners manual. and finally contacted Frigidaire on July 1, 2024. The first repair visit was on July 5 and it was determined that the compressor was bad. It took 2 weeks to get the compressor replaced. The refrigerator worked for about a week then it began freezing items again. This time we were told it was the control board which took another week+ to get replaced. But it didn™™t correct the problem. The issue was referred to Frigidaire master technicians by the local repairman and we are still waiting for resolution - 2 months without a refrigerator!!!

I™™m from other country and I never heard of Frigidaire before. My husband and I actually bought a fridge from other brand before we got this one but ended up returning it because it kept stop working. It was such a waste of time and money since we had to throw our food that went bad away and also find a place to keep the rest of our food cool. It was very stressful for us but thanks to this new fridge, we don™™t have to worry about all that anymore. It keeps food cool, fresh and clean as we hoped, no issues at all. Overall the top freezer refrigerator performs well. The refrigerator temperature at the normal setting stays at 36 to 37 deg F., which is just right. Door access and shelving is just right for my use. There is a low chirping sound whenever the compressor is running, quit annoying. I am not sure if this is leading into a failure of some sort. Level adjustment is difficult as there is really no access to adjust the leveling legs, so i had to adjust the leveling with wood shims.

I HATE this refrigerator. It is tall and deep. I have banged my head many times by hitting the largemetal handle on the freezer door. The design is horrible. You reach deep in the refrigerator and when you stand up your head hits that metal handle on freezer door. It is hard avoid. The top of my head is throbbing and I have finally expressed my anger over this crappy design.

Less than 90 days of buying my refrigerator it started to rust. Then started my quest of dealing with rude customer service agents.After a battle a service man finally showed up to replace my doors with black ones. Funny thing is he came without the doors!After another battle one door came. It was the black large one. About a month later the freezer door arrived. It was stainless!! I complained and they kept pushing me off. Finally someone told me it was out of stock and I waited. Well nothing! Now I tried to contact and they tell me times up! What?? It™™s your fault!
