I purchased this unit from Lowes about 4 months ago and it has been a hassle. The purchase was a huge issue. Lowes sent the wrong unit, and they would not swap it out with the correct model even though they had a warehouse full. Second using the recommended temperature setting will get you near Artic temperatures in the main compartment, temperature hover around 32-29 degrees. If you move it some above the recommended setting it stays around 32-33 degrees but does not very much. Then Turkey Day comes, and this thing doesn't want to cool down in the evening the temp took a big swing up to 46 degrees for a couple of hours. This is after we had cooled the leftovers in the freezer and then moved them to main section. 5 hours after the dinner is over and the temp is still reading 44 on the top shelf and 43 on the bottom. I think I will just save up for a new unit from a different manufacturer. I also don't have the thing packed to the rim since I know air needs to circulate to cool items off. Anyway, I am sure they will say we are so terribly sorry and that will be about it. Hopefully by morning it will have cooled down more, we have kept the door shut except to check the temp ever 2 hours.

Appliances have gotten a bit larger since my previous Frigidaire (2005), but the new one fits the small kitchen space. The interior is well organized, with glass shelves to make spills easier to clean. This one is fairly quiet, depending on its mode (there's a fan that sometimes runs). Freezer temp can be set independently of the fridge temp.

Two of the wheels on one of the crisper drawers were broken. If there was a final inspection it totally failed. It makes me wonder what else might not be as advertised. Trying to get a replacement drawer was very frustrating getting transferred round and round then hung up on.

The refrigerator cools quickly. But our first one, the fridge door inside was molded wrong, so the top 2 shelves would not fit. The vertical grooves for the top 2 shelves, were pinched together. The replacement refrigerator was perfect.

Had to replace previous refrigerator quickly. Was concerned about space limitations. Found model in several stores. Also saw review of same model on YouTube. Likes what I saw and purchased. Working very well so far. Keeping food cool and frozen. Was concerned about noise level, but so far not too noticeable when running. Did not order model with automatic ice maker and was disappointed no ice trays were included. Would have also liked it to have a separate compartment for dairy (butter, etc.). Also hope the shelves hold up as they appear to be a little flimsy. Still, overall, I am pleased with the refrigerator and hope to continue to dop so in the future

18 cu. ft. is plenty large enough for our family of 2. Keeps the temp. in both areas right where it needs to be, we actually had to set it a it lower for ideal temp. We had a 21 cu. ft. before and, truthfuly, expected more life out of it (around 10 years or so). We'll see how long this one lasts.
