Was defective right out of the box. Had a wait 6 weeks for the technician to replace a non-defective thermostat which means I waited 2 months for nothing. now another technician said that it was a defective compressor. Now I might have to wait another 6 months for a new compressor to come in the mail.

I bought the freezer to replace another and turned out to be a bad decision. I haven't had this freezer for 2 years and it already crapped out. I didn't buy the extended warranty because I thought it would last longer than what it did. In the future, if I buy another product from Frigidaire, I will make sure to get the extended warranty. I also tried calling, but can't get anyone on the phone.

Bought this freezer because I had meat at the butchers. I only had it three and a half months and it quit freezing. I called the company and they sent a repairman, repairman said manufacturer error. The tube that went to the freon was not installed right so freon and oil leaked out. I lost over $1,800 of food and company says it will not reimburse for ruined food. I feel they should be responsible as their product was faulty and didn't do what it should have.

I purchased this Frigidaire Chest Freezer 24.9 Cubic Foot back in December 2020 when they finally came back in stock for right around $1000. It has been working great so far! It cooled down in about 4 hours to below zero, very fast! It has castor wheels so you can move it around if you need too when its fully loaded which is perfect! You also can just leave the pre installed legs on it if you don't want to install the wheels. I put this in my basement and it was a chore getting it down there, its very large! It's huge, it can hold the meat from 2 200 lb pigs and 1 whole cow 572 lbs hanging weights! And its completely full, so it can hold a lot of frozen meat! I've only had it for 3.5 months so I can't speak to the longevity of it? I'm going to purchase the extended warranty from Frigidaire because they don't build appliances to last like they used too. This replaced an old chest freezer that was about 35 yrs old and it finally gave up the ghost, hopefully this one will last that long!

Buyer beware ... do not purchase this freezer. Lasted 1 year 14 days and died. And to top it off it™™s not repairable. Customer service at Frigidaire has not helped.

I bought it new in March of 2020. In January of 2021 it died. It was more expensive to repair than new. Thankfully the 1 year ware didn™™t expire yet otherwise it would be landfill trash. It™™s slow to freeze. I wouldn™™t buy again.

Bought to replace a 20+yr old freezer that died. and this thing is absolutely huge. nice light and lid is easy to operate. wheels are great with a unit this size to maneuver.cant speak to the life of the unit as it is only about a month old.

We have had this freezer for a month and I am so pleased with it. It is huge! We were trying to find the biggest freezer we possible that could fit into our basement and this was the perfect fit. We had 3 small chest freezers and it was time to consolidate. Everything plus much more fit into this new freezer. It comes with casting wheels that makes it so easy to move if needed. It only took a couple of hours to get to temp after we plugged it in. The door opens and closes with ease and even has a lock and key if needed. I am very pleased with it so far.

My wife ordered this freezer for me as I decided to get 2 pigs and process them myself this year.This freezer is amazing! No frost in it, a lot of space to organize my frozen items and it is on 6 caster wheels which I love!I can move my freezer from one place to another even though it is more than half full.I™™m still working on organizing my garage, so the ability to move it around is a great plus.Since it is in my garage, I do lock it, so no one sneaks in and takes all my meat.You never know these days.It is way more efficient than my 16 cu ft freezer that™™s about 15 years old now.I highly recommend this freezer to everyone that need the largest model and I would recommend this to my family and friends.I™™m glad my wife didn™™t end up buying another small freezer with no wheels.

I like this model very much! It has many features and was exactly as described. It really is a HUGE freezer! (almost 7ft) but it maneuvers easily on six wheels. The only thing that would make this freezer perfect is if they had brakes on the wheels on BOTH ends. Right now there are only 2 brakes on the wheels on the left side. So the opposite end will move when you lean against it. I'll have to figure out a way to prevent that. But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!! :) TIP: I purchased 7-inch deep Cabela's freezable gray restaurant tubs to keep everything organized. They work great!!

Bought through Home Depot. Great roomy freezer. Needed extra space for 1/2 beef and two pigs, along with venison. Easily stored over a year's worth of meat. Couple reasons for 4 instead of 5 star. Could use a heavier duty, longer cord. Fortunately when we measured our space where freezer was to set, the cord reached where the outlet was. Could be an issue for someone if outlet was at opposite end of freezer. Other thing is freezer is stocked with two plastic hanging baskets, which is nice feature. Since we process our own beef, we placed some of the tubes of burger in a single layer in baskets. The next morning, when adding packages of steak, the bottom half of tubes were frozen, but top half was still soft. If you are freezing meet, layer in bottom, don't use baskets unless the product is already frozen.

I brought this roughly a month ago and it has arrived early and as described. The chest freezer when delivered comes with a bag of wheels which you can attached at the bottom in 2 rows of 3 wheels or one on each corner. The chest freezer also comes with 2 baskets that are removable on either end and can freeze things fairly fast and well. The chest freezer also comes with a key if you need to lock the freezer. Overall I am satisfied with the freezer and it does it jobs perfectly.

It is a good freezer and is doing the job but since this is the big one I wish it would have come with more baskets (only two are provided). Given COVID-19, it was challenging finding a new freezer. I had a upright and a medium sized chest (both Frigidaire and they have done well) but our upright died right with the virus. Would have rather gotten another upright and then possibly upgraded my chest but went with the only thing available (big one) to be safe.
